CSR, CHARITY AND NEWS
Trading since 1959 and still a family owned, established brand within Peterborough, Walters strongly believes in supporting the community in which it is located. As well as contributing to the local economy, the company actively supports local charities and regularly sponsors events and organisations in the area.
GROWING BY DESIGN
Walters has extended its sales capacity by over 70% since September last year. Specialising in all aspects of design and office space planning, from concept through to installation, the sales team for the Office Interiors sector has three new recruits. With extensive previous experience, the new sales team members will cover the local market, London-based customers and also supply specialist advice on energy-efficient LED lighting solutions. WESTMINSTER COMES TO WALTERS
The annual Walters Ideal Office Show this year played host to guest celebrity Stewart Jackson, MP for Peterborough. Selected senior executives from the City’s leading organisations were invited to attend an informal breakfast briefing at the opening of the event held at Walters’ head office and showrooms in Royce Road.
Mr Jackson led discussions on key local business issues such as employment, the environment and technological innovations which have helped to create a leading business community.
CARING FOR SICK CHILDREN
As part of its CSR programme, Walters strongly believes in actively supporting the community and charities in the local area. Addenbrookes in Cambridge is universally acclaimed for its pioneering work and Walters are delighted to offer support, especially with the hospital’s care facilities for sick children.
